I have lots of things to write about but am feeling constantly tired all the time and lack the energy to put into a big post. I'm super busy at school for the next few weeks to finish everything off for my manuscript. I leave next Saturday for New Orleans for the one conference I'll be going to this year.

Amanda and Darren were married this morning in a lovely, intimate ceremony at the Tin Pan Galley in Sackets Harbor.  Although the weather didn't work in their favor to have an outdoor wedding on the river, it was so SO wonderful to be there in support and to witness this celebration of their love ( Read more... )

I got an email last night from one of my girls.  Rose is going to have a baby!  She's just about 6 weeks along and went in for her initial ultrasound.  I'm so excited for her I could pee my pants.  Seriously.

2 years ago this week was Rose's wedding.  We have been good friends since we were in Brownies together, back in 1992.  I remember going to her house after school and jumping on the trampoline for hours and hours with the other girls in our group.
